# RxResearch Agency

## Introduction

Hello everyone!\
Some of you may already know me under my old nickname 'Silva' and from my previous mods for *Surviving Mars* . Today I'm 'Dash' and with the release of **Relaunched**, I took the opportunity to update a selection of my older creations—but this time, I also wanted to go further.

What motivates me the most with this new version is to **give meaning to my mods by embedding them into a consistent Lore**. I wanted to create something that naturally connects with the *Surviving Mars* universe while remaining **fully independent**. That’s how the **\[Rx]Research Agency** was born: a private, mysterious, and autonomous organization, developing its own technologies and infrastructures outside of any sponsor.

Each building, technology, and upgrade now has a place in this Lore, with some content being unlocked through narrative-driven events. My goal is for your playthroughs to not only be enriched by new tools but also by a **more immersive and coherent experience**.

## New Lore – \[Rx]Research Agency

* **A private and independent agency**: no affiliation with existing sponsors. not playable sponsor.
* **Integrated events**: unlock new buildings, technologies, and upgrades through encrypted transmissions.
* **Global coherence**: mods are no longer just isolated add-ons but part of a story that connects all content together.

The agency thus becomes a real actor in your playthroughs, adding a new dimension to gameplay.

## New Buildings

I updated a part (not all) of my old buildings and I adjusted  them to fit the mechanics of *Relaunched* and integrated into the **\[Rx]Research Agency** Lore.

More new/old buildings will come progressively...

## New Technologies

With the introduction of the **\[Rx]Research** tech field, new and old technologies are added to the game. They are unlocked through immersive events, directly tying the agency to your colony’s progression:

Each technology is introduced through a narrative event, where the agency presents its prototypes and negotiates their adoption.

## Future Plans

* **Updating more older mods**: some of my previous mods will gradually be updated for *Relaunched*, though not all of them.
* **New content**: additional buildings, upgrades, and events will progressively expand the Lore of the **\[Rx]Research Agency**.
* **Continuous balancing**: your feedback will be essential to fine-tune production, consumption, and progression, ensuring a smooth and interesting experience.

👉 With this approach, I want my mods to be more than just technical extensions: I want them to become a **true parallel adventure** within the universe of *Surviving Mars*.
